On the second day of the conference the participants had the chance to participate in two of three workshops offered by several project partners. Groups of 10 to 20 participants learnt about and exchanged ideas on the topics: Ecosystem-based management, Data needs and information on MSP and Stakeholder Engagement.

In the afternoon of the second day the conference attendees were invited on a guided boat trip of the Rade de Brest, a sheltered bay at which the city of Brest is situated. The participants got a good impression of Brittany’s beautiful rugged coastline as well as the city’s marine infrastructures such as the naval base, the port of Brest and the polder construction site.
